Download Print Camp Jeep® and Ram Truck Territory Test Tracks Debut at the 2022 North American International Auto Show August 31, 2022 , Auburn Hills, Mich. - The popular Camp Jeep® and Ram Truck Territory indoor test tracks will make their debut at the 2022 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). These interactive test tracks attract thousands of people and are sure to be fan favorites at the upcoming show. Camp Jeep Since its inception in 2004, more than 2.85 million people have taken free rides on the Camp Jeep test track during multiple auto shows in various Jeep vehicles. Riders get a glimpse at a multitude of off-road features that they may not commonly experience in everyday driving. It will be the first time the interactive test track will be at NAIAS and is sure to attract large crowds. The track will feature a mountain that is 23’ tall with 45-degree approach and departure angles. Experienced drivers will navigate attendees through the various courses in the 30,000-square-foot exhibit. It is anticipated that more than 30,000 people will ride on the Jeep track during the show. Courses include: Ground Clearance Stair Climber Maneuverability Moguls Extreme Break-over Jeep Tunnel Pass-Thru 23’ 45-degree Hill Ascent / Descent Off-Camber 30-degree Banked Wedge Attendees can stop by the Jeep display for a free ride in the following Jeep vehicles: Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Jeep Wrangler 4xe Jeep Wrangler 392 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon Jeep Gladiator Mojave Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk 4xe Jeep Grand Cherokee L Overland and Summit Reserve Ram Truck Territory In addition to Camp Jeep, auto show attendees can experience the capability and power of Ram trucks in the Ram Truck Territory test track, which also makes its first appearance at NAIAS. Auto show attendees can take free rides in Ram 1500 light-duty and 2500/3500 heavy-duty trucks. Ram Truck Territory combines key vocational capabilities, such as towing, payload, torque and technology, with off-road capabilities, like traction, articulation and suspension, to provide consumers a comprehensive in-truck experience. It is projected that 25,000 test rides will be given. Professional drivers will provide auto show attendees with an exciting ride as they go through a series of steel culverts that showcases ride handling capability and suspension options. Riders will also feel the traction and experience hill-descent technology on the iconic Ram Mountain, a 13-foot high, 30-foot long course element with 30-degree approach and departure angles. Technology will be displayed as the drivers highlight the 360-degree camera technology, class-exclusive four-corner air ride suspension, multifunction tailgate, 12.1” touchscreen and acoustic NVH features.
