Download Print Special Report: FCA Mexico 2016 Sales Archive FCA México Reports April 2016 Sales of 7,321 Units Alfa Romeo posted best April ever Dodge sales improved 7 percent versus April 2015 Fiat recorded best April ever Mitsubishi Motors Mexico reported sales increase of 9 percent versus 2015; best April since 2009 Ram set sales record; best April since 2009 Mexico City May 3, 2016 - FCA México today reported sales of 7,321 units. “Last month, Dodge Attitude, Ram 700 and Jeep Grand Cherokee were the top leaders in each brand, offering unique features in their segments, which has helped them report excellent sales results,” said Bruno Cattori President & CEO of FCA México. “We will remain focused on bringing the best quality products to our clients.” Alfa Romeo Alfa Romeo brand, which celebrates its fifth anniversary in the Mexican market, set a sales record for best April ever with 29 units. Alfa Romeo MiTo, Alfa Romeo Giulietta and Alfa Romeo 4C reported an important sales increase as well. Chrysler Chrysler brand continues to perform well, posting 185 units. Dodge Dodge brand sales were up 7 percent versus April 2015 with 2,481 units. Dodge Attitude sales led the way for the brand, posting sales of 1,408 units, an increase of 14 percent; best April ever. Dodge Vision sales surged 43 percent. Dodge Durango also experienced strong sales, posting an increase of 49 percent compared to previous year results. Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger recorded best April ever. FIAT Fiat brand sales continued its strong ascent by posting a 5 percent improvement of 655 units compared to April 2015; best April ever. Fiat Palio Adventure and Fiat Ducato reported a double-digit sales increase, while the Fiat Uno Way reported sales of 282 units, best April ever. Fiat 500X and Fiat 500L, the latest additions to the Fiat lineup, continue to perform well. Jeep® The Jeep brand sold 966 units. Jeep Grand Cherokee sales were up 8 percent versus April 2015. Jeep Grand Cherokee 75th Anniversary Edition and Jeep Wrangler 75th Anniversary Edition were recognized by the Northwest Automotive Press Association (NWAPA). Mitsubishi Motors Last month, Mitsubishi Motors Mexico reported 1,265 units sold, an increase of 9 percent over 2015; best April since 2009. Mitsubishi Outlander, the last launch of the brand in the country, continued its winning streak by posting a 12 percent increase over the same period in 2015; meanwhile, Mitsubishi L200 reported sales of 545 units; best April ever. Ram Ram brand experienced a significant sales increase of 9 percent with 1,740 units, best April since 2009. Ram 700, which continued as the top leader of its segment for 13 consecutive months, reported sales of 741 units. Popular Mechanics awarded 2016 Ram Truck line for Automotive Excellence Honor.
