This growing legacy continues to speak to our culture of diversity and inclusion.”Over the years, Chrysler Group employees consistently have received important technical and professional recognition from various diversity organizations, including Black Engineer of the Year, Women of Color, HENAAC Great Minds in STEM and others, reflecting the Company’s strong commitment to developing its diverse workforce.Chrysler Group 2013 Women of Color Award RecipientsRajani Sinha, Manager, Plant Supply Systems, was honored with the Pioneer Award, which recognizes more seasoned, innovative leaders, creating a social and economic impact in their field. Sinha is recognized for having spearheaded major projects and assignments, broken barriers, and have made professional gains in fields that many women have not occupied. “I am so humbled to be receiving this prestigious award,” said Sinha. “In India, my family was non-traditional. My mother was a college professor, she was my role model. My parents always encouraged me to push against the limits of tradition. For that, I am forever grateful.” Sinha is currently responsible for managing the Plant Supply systems, supporting 14 assembly and 10 manufacturing plants in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. She is involved in working collaboratively with Fiat to define common processes, tools and systems in order to build, design, manufacture and sell vehicles anywhere in the world. Sinha has a well-established background in information technology with more than 20 years’ experience. Other Chrysler Group Award recipients were recognized in the category, Technology Rising Stars.
