August 31, 2007 The all-new Jeep Liberty will give customers more peace of mind with several features including Trailer Sway Control, Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPM) and rain-sensing wipers. Trailer Sway Control reduces trailer sway, providing improved trailer stability and increased towing safety. The TPM system informs occupants if tire pressure is too low by utilizing pressure-sensor modules within the valve stems of all four road wheels. Jeep Liberty’s rain-sensing wipers automatically sense moisture on the windshield and activate the wipers.

The Dodge Caliber’s five-star rating for frontal crash protection makes it the 12th consecutive new product from Chrysler Group to achieve the top safety rating in the government's frontal crash tests. In addition, Caliber received the government’s highest crash ratings for protecting the driver and rear passenger in a side impact.

June 12, 2006 Chrysler Group today announced that it has produced more than 1.2 million vehicles with its Electronic Stability Program (ESP) since 2004. By the end of 2006, ESP will be standard equipment on all Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep® brand sport-utility vehicles and will be standard or available on over 70 percent of Chrysler Group models.
